President

Dan Max is a partner at Offit Kurman in the firm’s Business Law and Transactions group. He focuses his practice on transactional and general corporate law.  

Dan counsels clients on strategic transactions and other special and complex matters, including mergers, acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, securities and corporate governance matters.  His clients include private companies, public companies, buyers, sellers, board of directors, executives and entrepreneurs, with an emphasis in the technology and government contracting industries.

Dan regularly represents clients in general corporate matters, such as advising boards of directors and counseling on capitalization, employment, customer/supplier and other commercial matters. Dan also has experience advising clients in connection with commercial disputes and litigations, including disputes and litigations concerning  indemnification claims and employee matters.

Nozi is Controller at American Podiatric Medical Association in Bethesda, Maryland. Nozi has more than 10 years of experience in public accounting, conducting and reporting on audits of both for profit and non-profit organizations and preparing corporate, individual and 990 tax returns. Nozi holds a B.S. in Economics from Ave Maria University and a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Loyola University, Maryland. Nozi is a Certified Public Accountant in Maryland and resides in Derwood. Nozi’s favorite pastimes include reading and volunteering with local charities that focus on providing services for underserved communities. organizations. Her focus over the last several years has been on building and growing individual giving programs.

William Farfan is a Consulting Service Manager at Aprio, a Top 25 premier business advisory and accounting firm. Prior to his time at Aprio, Mr. Farfan was a Senior Auditor at Grant Thornton LLP and Senior Consultant at Aronson, LLC. Over the past seven years Mr. Farfan has focused on working with clients in the aerospace and defense industry. William obtained his Master’s degree in accounting from American University, Kogod Business School and B.A. in Business from UMUC. 

Mr. Farfan is originally from Caracas, Venezuela, and is fluent in Spanish and English. In addition, he has lived in Ottawa, Canada, and currently resides in Rockville, MD with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking for his friends and family, and participating in adventure races.

Devi joined the USA for  UNHCR as their Manager of Mid-level Gifts. She manages their mid-level engagement program. For over seventeen years 

she has had the pleasure of working for several nonprofit and public sector entities, ranging from small, grassroots nonprofits to large universities and global organizations. Her focus over the last several years has been on building and growing individual giving programs. Devi graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a double major in Economics and Spanish and has her MPA from New York University. She lived in San Francisco, CA for over 15 years and moved back to her home state of Maryland in 2017. Outside of work, she loves to travel, explore the outdoors, and spend time with her partner Robert and their dogs, Daisy, Dax and Data.

Karen T. Lin

Born in Gaithersburg and raised in the Northeast, Karen T. (“KT ”) Lin is a Montgomery County returnee and has been on the CRCMC board since 2021. She works as a human-centered design strategist in the fintech industry. She is board president and former executive director of a youth identity and leadership development nonprofit (tafworld.org) and is also a recently retired Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) through Voices for Children (voices for children montgomery.org). Karen’s personal and professional philosophy is centered on the belief that deep insights can only be attained through asking deep questions. She also believes that empathy, compassion and nonviolence must be core competencies of both individuals and organizations to achieve positive and sustainable change. Karen earned her B.Sc. in Human Factors Engineering Psychology and Community Health at Tufts University and her graduate certificate in Interactive Design at Northeastern University. She is also a Certified Usability Analyst (CUATM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO®), and Certified Product Manager. In her spare time, Karen enjoys writing, dancing, meditating, and learning new board games and languages with her grade schooler.

Joanna Colosimo

Joanna is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist at DCI Consulting Group, Inc. where she serves as Vice President for Workforce Equity and Compliance Strategy. She joined the Board in July 2024.

Joanna guides organizations on employment discrimination statutes, pay equity, affirmative action, selection procedures, and DEIA. Joanna has worked with Fortune 1000 clients conducting complex analytics, often in response to investigations by enforcement agencies.

Christina DeLane of DeLane Law Group, LLC is a licensed attorney serving Maryland and the District of Columbia. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. Christina is passionate about equity and access. She enjoys street festivals and live events. University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law, where she specialized in tax law. Annie is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Bar Association of Montgomery County, Women’s Bar Association of Montgomery County, and the National Lawyers Guild. She is licensed to practice in California (inactive) and Maryland. In her free time, Annie enjoys exercise, traveling, playing rec league soccer, reading, and learning Russian. She is excited to be on the Board and looks forward to expanding restorative justice practices in Montgomery County and beyond.

Amanda Manes

Amanda is a civil litigator at Shin Law Group, PLLC. Amanda has  practiced law in both the public and private sectors, and is barred in Maryland and DC. She earned her J.D. at the University of Baltimore, where she was a student attorney in the family law clinic and a member of the National Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Team. She holds a B.S. cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh. She joined the Board in July 2024.

Kapres Meadows is a dedicated community advocate and experienced leader in project management, quality systems, and commercial real estate. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Fort Valley State University, a Master of Science in Chemistry from Howard University, and an MBA in Finance and Real Estate Development from American University’s Kogod School of Business.  With over two decades of professional experience, Kapres has led strategic initiatives across corporate, nonprofit, and entrepreneurial settings. He is passionate about expanding opportunities, empowering underserved communities, and creating sustainable impact. As a board member of CRCMC, Kapres brings a thoughtful, results-driven approach to supporting the organization’s mission of fostering a safer community by providing conflict resolution methods and a range of services in Montgomery County.
